Frequently Asked Questions

Who can participate in the mobile dance program?

Our dance programs are designed for a variety of age groups and experience levels. Class offerings may vary by location and season.

What styles of dance will my child learn?

We offer a variety of dance styles including Hip Hop, Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Lyrical, and Acro. Many programs are taught as combo classes that blend multiple styles together. Class styles and program structure are selected in collaboration with the host school or daycare to best fit the needs and interests of participating families.

What should my child wear to dance class?

Dancers should wear comfortable clothing that allows for movement, with hair pulled back and minimal jewelry. Shoe and attire requirements may vary by dance style and program and can include ballet shoes, tap shoes, jazz shoes, socks, or clean sneakers for Hip Hop classes. Additional class attire details will be shared when applicable.

Does my child need to bring anything to class?

No materials are required unless otherwise noted. Blueprint Dance Company provides all music, instruction, and class materials. Students are encouraged to bring a water bottle.

Are the classes safe and supervised?

Yes. Classes are taught by trained, professional instructors in partnership with the host school, daycare, or program facility. Our priority is creating a safe, positive, and encouraging environment for every student.

Will there be a performance or showcase?

Our semester and full year programs typically include an end of session showcase or performance opportunity. Some summer programs may also include an end of summer showcase depending on the program structure and length. Additional details will be shared throughout the session when applicable.

Does my child need previous dance experience?

No prior dance experience is required. Classes are designed to be fun, encouraging, and age appropriate for all dancers.

What happens if my child misses a class?

Missed classes are non refundable and cannot be transferred or made up. We encourage dancers to attend consistently to support their learning and performance preparation.

Will dancers need costumes or performance attire?

Performance attire requirements vary by program. Families will receive attire and showcase information in advance when applicable.

How will families receive updates and important information?

Program updates, schedule reminders, showcase information, and important announcements will be shared through email and/or the Parent Resources section of each individual school or daycare partner page.

What happens during bad weather or facility closures?

Programs typically follow the host facility and/or the DeKalb County School District weather closures when applicable. Families will be notified of any schedule changes or cancellations. When possible, make up classes or schedule adjustments may be offered for extended closures or missed instructional time.

What happens if a class does not meet minimum enrollment?

Classes are subject to minimum enrollment requirements. Class groupings may be adjusted or combined whenever possible. If a class is unable to run, families will be notified and offered alternative class placement options or a full refund when applicable.

When is tuition due?

Tuition payments are due by the 5th of each month and will be automatically processed using the payment method on file.

What happens if tuition is late?

Accounts not paid by the 5th of each month will incur a $25 late fee. Any balance remaining after the 10th will result in the dancer being unable to participate in classes until the account is brought current.

What happens if my account remains unpaid?

Accounts that remain unpaid for 30 days will result in automatic withdrawal from the program. Families will receive email communication regarding overdue balances and enrollment status updates.

What if I have to withdraw my child from the program?

A 30 day written notice submitted by email is required to withdraw a dancer from the program. Tuition and account balances remain the responsibility of the family during the notice period and must be paid in full prior to withdrawal.
